MUA are a brand known for their bargain £4 eyeshadow palettes so it might be unknown to some of you that they actually do eyeshadow trios as well. I own 4 of the trios now, with 2 being the Merged Trios* which I really hated to be honest. The other 2 though, Eden being one of them, are much better so I thought I'd share this green trio with you today.
MUA Trio Eyeshadow in Eden
This trio offers you 2 green shades and one creamy white shade. All 3 shades are well pigmented with perhaps the 3rd shade being a little less pigmented than the others. They all offer an almost metallic finish to them that reflects light beautifully. I find they last for about 3/4 of the day, by the afternoon they have faded but for only £2.50 I think this palette is a little bargain! All 3 colours work really well together, you have a base shade, a defining crease shade and a highlighting shade. You have everything you need to create a simple green eye look. Unlike the merged formula of the trio eyeshadows my brushes pick up the colour easily, with the merged ones they hardly picked up any colour.
Overall I am really impressed by this little trio, if you love the palettes then you'll love this!
The MUA Eyeshadow Trios are available in a selection of shades from selected Superdrug stores or online here.
Have you tried the trios or are you faithful to the palettes?
Thanks for reading,
Shona x
