There are two ways through life: the way of nature, and the way of grace...
The official Web site for "The Tree of Life" has gone live, and boy is it a beaut. Fox Searchlight really means business with this one, and for that I am beyond grateful. Every new Terrence Malick film is an event; the release of a new Malick film deserves to be treated thusly (unlike New Line's fart and shrug job bestowed upon "The New World" in 2005).
Check out Two Ways Through Life, the official name of the official site for "The Tree of Life," which finally opens May 27 after literally years of baited breath. You'll have the option to click/choose between "the father's way" and "the mother's way," so why not pretend you're back in college and explore both? Inside you'll find a trove of elements from the film itself, from video images to stills to (my personal favorite surprise) our first listen to Alexandre Desplat's epic, transfixing score.
"Father, Mother, Always you wrestle inside me."
