Once again Max Azria shows everyone how good he is in reinventing the brand ( with his colleague Lubov Azria of course).
This time the muse came from a different century, from a different era. This time she is the muse of many others, but none could reincarnate her this way before (wither you like the collection or not). So the muse I am talking about is Marie Antoinette.
A modern look of the 18th century queen described by Azria as “a very aggressive, sexy woman,” he said after the show, “but she’s also a lady.” With this very special muse, Azria presented a new turn of the brand, a new silhouette, the longer knee-length version of the bandage dress. He also brought something very different to it and it's the laser-cut leather panels that looked like lace in black or white plus the perforated leather jackets with peaked shoulders. The last grouping of dresses featured ribbon-woven corsets—new ground for this label.
Like fashion editor says: "It's not easy to maintain a sense of newness in a label with such strict parameters, but the Azrias managed it nicely with this collection."
I leave you with the fotos of the entire collection below, hope you enjoy it and see you tomorrow with more news.
More photos after the jump.
